The result is a beautiful facility with well appointed guestrooms and quality services and amenities - and it's perfect for your dream Vermont wedding!
An assortment of choices are available for wedding parties - from The Woodstock Ballroom with a capacity of up to 200 to The Rockefeller room which can accommodate 160. The Woodstock Golf Club can accommodate up 125, and outdoor options are available in the Front Garden, South Garden, at Suicide Six ski area or The Billings Farm and Museum or even at The Cabin on Mount Tom.
The staff at the Woodstock Inn and Resort can help you with every wedding planning detail ensuring that you experience the Woodstock Vermont wedding of your dreams.
The picturesque town of Woodstock was chartered in 1761. A wonderful array of shops, a beautiful village green (the price of real estate adjoining the green is among the highest in the state), covered bridges, and well preserved 19th century architecture. Credit for that preservation lies with a number of people. but most notably, George Perkins Marsh, Fredrick Billings, his granddaughter, Mary French, and her husband Laurance S. Rockefeller.
The Billings Farm and Museum, the Woodstock Inn and Resort, Woodstock Country Club, and the Marsh - Billings - Rockefeller National Historic Park are the most visible examples of their impact, however there are less visible ones. Laurance and Mary French Rockefeller had the village's power lines buried underground and they are responsible for many of the preservation efforts that make Woodstock the kind of location that makes you feel as though you've stepped out of time for a moment. Perfect for a dream Vermont wedding!
There's lots to do in the Woodstock area. In addition to the aforementioned locations, there's Mount Tom, Suicide Six, Sugarbush Farm or The Vermont Institute of Natural Science. The surrounding countryside is dotted with some amazing architecture including many stately homes and functioning covered bridges.
Woodstock is one of those towns that can make you feel like you're in a dream - and a great place to make your wedding dreams come true!
